All righty. I've checked around to a few threads, caught up here and now it's time for some bed. Night all. :D

Did you tell here no worries, it was an old guy, married and living in Canada, and that she is quite safe from stalking. :D

I really like the idea of using USERNAME-SHARE for the image title. It worked great for organizing on my part too.

LOL...she was worried it was a girl. And, oops, I didn't follow that pattern. Now I'm doomed to rejection. :D

I've read a good portion of those books and I thnk Heather has read them all. Which one are you talking about?

this one
http://www.amazon.com …ser_title?ie=UTF8&s=books (external link)

and it's awful (I bought it and was just sick...it's not like her other books at all...but she takes things from all of them...the barn burns down, Polly moves forever to Scotland and abandons her cats...not like the characters or the scene she's worked 40 years to cultivate). I still have it, though I debated on tossing it because I'll never read it again...if Heather is a fan, I'd recommend not reading this one.

(read some of the reviews...her fans normally are so loyal too...)

Jim I picked up that you are in construction in Calgary. How's the business going up there. It really stinks down here.

My company is only doing one custom home right now, with no more on the books until next year. Fortunately renovations is our main focus, and we are extremely busy with that, and have at least 6 months work lined up. New production housing has slumped huge though, I am getting lots of calls from framing crews out of work. Even workers doing finish type work are running out of projects, which will only help us with our production. While we are feeling the recession from south of the border at bit, one of the biggest contributors here is that the city overbuilt homes with 10's pf 1000's of condos/apartments/starter homes coming on line in the past year and flooding the market.

Some of the larger projects are feeling the crunch to, mainly because the folks who finance these multi-million/billion dollar projects are not doing so as willingly until things turn around.

I am sitting on a spec home myself and can't sell it right now, not for what it should be worth anyway.

Sounds all to familiar. The empty homes and high rise condos are what is going to kill us for several years. Our busiest year was right around 28,000 residential starts. We currently have about 35,000 empty units. It's going to take a long time to burn through those to start building anything new.
