* Cooks up waffle, tops with a piece of deep fried chicken and tops with just a dab of country gravy. Serves Chet a waffle southern style.*

Same here, the kids love waffles though they pour on the maple syrup and sometimes some fresh fruit. I actually like mine with grape or strawberry jelly and nothing else. Also they are great with just some powered sugar on them.

All good. :D
I too love some homemade jelly on them. When I do this, I usually roll them up to eat. Weird, eh? :p

*Cooks up a waffle, puts on a pat of sweet butter, lets it melt, tops with a few slices of pie filling apples. Sprinkles a littl powered sugar and top with a dab od whipped cream. Hand to Chet*

BTW, I had never heard of waffles southern style but saw it on one of the cooking channel show. It might have been on Paula's show but I'm not sure. I tried it once and it was not as bad as I though it migh be. Was sort of filling actually, but I too still prefer my waffles sweet.

Super neat? WTF you been hanging around the kiddies way to long.

I try to keep it G-PG while here at work.

Not in my book....Even if I take a shortcut and make the batter with Bisquick...it still gets bacon bits.

Oh yeah...the milk is a must! And the bacon itself is served on the side...but the bacon drippings and the little bits left in the bottom of the frying pan are used in the batter in place of oil....you have to try it to appreciate it.
