Good Morning All :D

We get a fair number of Flames games....but I've only seen the Sabres twice this season...and they aren't on the schedule again for weeks...

The Flames kicked butt tonight, probably their best game of the season so far. The Av's were lucky to hold on as well as they did. Hopefully the Flames can carry on with this play, they have been so up and down this season, it is crazy.

It'll be especially good when the Av's win.

:lol:Who am I kidding. We all know the Av's suck this year.

Not too good at all for you then, Eric. :D

Kid was off of school today. My wife does actually come by probably once a week to take me to lunch.

My wife makes me lunch every day. ;)

Hey guess what? Dan just reminded me that we met exactly 26 years ago today in 5 min. from now.

and you are welcome! I use them for every portrait...she's perfected the eyes and teeth actions...I've got 3 others (from different people) for those and no one comes close to being as natural as her actions.

Wow, what a memory. :D

I keep hearing about actions. Are they like presets in Lightroom that you hit a button, and they do stuff to the photo? I remember trying to add presets to Lightroom, it was a failure. :(

Permagrin wrote in post #6714749 (external link)
lol...we met at a bible study. My boyfriend (at the time) just had told me he was dating me to be close to my best friend. I was more mad than hurt and decided I was going to enjoy my evening. My best friend's boyfriend brought Dan (who'd just arrived on the ship) to the study and I thought he was SO CUTE! I flirted shamelessly. Our best friends fixed us up on a blind date the following weekend and after the date I told my parents I knew I was going to marry him. Not quite 2 years later we did get married.

Hussy :p
And, is it still a blind date if you know what the person looks like. ;)

I have it saved. People mention it a lot when they compliment her and she forgets the link a lot.

WOW, I had one look at that and was lost by the second sentence, and totally out of it by the third. I just don't think I will ever be able to understand this processing stuff.

That video Cat posted from YouTube on curves was easy to understand, but that is one area I do understand.

QUESTION
I really don't have the time to go out and take a course right now, is there some form of online training, some other training videos (like on YouTube) that anyone would recommend?

Permagrin wrote in post #6714835 (external link)
Cat, really...you need to post more photos. Unless you posted this while I was gone...I absolutely love what you did. And Marian's pose/look is perfect! She's certainly a beauty.

So true :D

G'mae all

Sorry, no MMQ from me today - (Do you even remember me - it feels like I've been not posting for that long... ;))

Just got to say I did glance at a few pages from the last few days - saw some wonderful pictures, saw great hilarity was being enjoyed and totally couldn't understand some posts, others only with twisting my brain in knots. So just like normal, really  (hope the TF doesn't see my brain is in knots!)

Been busy at work and at home so not been able to keep up with the massive pace of posting in here. Anyone got some cliff notes for anything important I've missed?

TPBM is a shot of something you lost.

They had a bunch of these for sale at Kroger a couple years back. My wife wanted one badly. I refused, saying it was rather tacky ...

... But secretly, I admit, this bird house is kind of funnny.

Mark, good to see you. How is your son doing? They have diagnosed my nephew. Spinocerebellar Ataxia (external link)type undetermined,. We are all doing a lot of reading and keeping positive attitudes. His sisters will be going in for testing next month.

Crissa, I've also been wondering how your dad is doing?

G'MAE all. Off to the office, I felt good leaving yesterday, like I accomplished a lot from the stuff that has been on my credenzia trying to find time to be trained on how to proceed. But 11 hour days are just too long. I'm going to try to stop at 8 today.:D

Great. My dog is crazy nuts. She had something in her mouth, so I told her it wasn't hers and said 'drop it' so she dropped it and ran. Right into my wine glass.
While I was cleaning it up from the carpet, she is licking it up as fast as she can.

Apparently my dog is a wino too.

I had a beagle that liked wine and wine coolers.
