Oooh, I've had one of those before... the best thing you can do is some Holy water, a liberal sprinkling of kerosene, and a well-placed match.

And preferably not in the middle of your living room floor.

Eww... "It"... could have been.

That would be one and the other is a story in one of his books of short stories about this guy who has an incredibly long finger finger start poking out of his drain and he keeps trying to get rid of it by using drain cleaner and eventually an electric knife.

Very nice Harm. I like the colors and serenity of the shot.

It is a fantastic place - SIL's farmhouse near the Canadian border (top of NY). Nearest big city is Montreal, about 2 hrs drive away, so the light pollution here is very, very low. Watching the stars at night is oustanding up here. The one thing I'd like to see would be the Northern Lights....but perhaps I need to go further north - although the locals have seen them this low down....

Harm, another lovely shot. You always seem to get some great color out of your images.

Thanks, and I can only assume it is the norm, unless you're all super professionals.

Where is that other Bennett boy, Pete, these days?
Did I miss an announcement, or something?

It's the norm for me. Yesterday I shot for an hour and a half and ended up with one shot that I like, but that one shot made the outing worth while.

Pretty much sums up every one of my outings.
