Whoa... I just had something weird happen. I'm selling my truck today and I go out there to take a few last pics. First few work fine then all of a sudden I press the shutter and nothing. Push the pop up flash down it takes a pic. Pop it up a few more then nothing again. Change the zoom and it takes a few more then locks up again. Turn it off, takes a few and locks up.

Yikes!! time for some debugging I think. Never had that happen before. :(

THAT'S SCARY!!!

I haven't been able to EAT breakfast yet. I'm normally ok with lots of stuff but drain critters are too much....too much Stephen King literature in my past.

He is under the thumb now....not allowed to go out and play. Now he has to cater for the missus and take her to all the pointless girlie stores in town, where he will just stand there and do nothing...

Me no likee when hubby (or anybody, honestly) comes along because...

There is nothing in the world more irritating than going shopping with another person...I have an agenda when I go to a store...and I don't like it being derailed by someone else's plans.

^^^That.

lol...we met at a bible study. My boyfriend (at the time) just had told me he was dating me to be close to my best friend. I was more mad than hurt and decided I was going to enjoy my evening. My best friend's boyfriend brought Dan (who'd just arrived on the ship) to the study and I thought he was SO CUTE! I flirted shamelessly. Our best friends fixed us up on a blind date the following weekend and after the date I told my parents I knew I was going to marry him. Not quite 2 years later we did get married.

What a wonderfully sweet story! :)

BTW.. I had a super gross experience last night. THe kids bathtub was running slow. We had tried liquid draino, foam draino, plungers, just about anything you can think of but nothing. So last night I took out the power snake to rod it out. I pulled out the largest wad of... um... stuff I have ever seen. At forst I though it was an animal and let me tell you, the stuff was the smelliest stuff I have ever seen. EEEWWW[URL]www....

Sorry.. had to share. Back to your regular programing.

My mom and two sisters all have long, dark hair. I hear you on the bathtub drain monster! E[URL]www...

Good morn, and yep :) Although the cover of 'It' (clown) never crossed my threshold and 'Dead Zone' I just could not finish. Every thing else he has written, as himself or his psycho twin Richard Bachman (sp?), I have read at lease once. He is one of the few authors I will re-read :)

Me too! I made it through 'IT ' but I don't have clown issues. The dead zone was ok. Pet Sematary just freaked me right out. I could never read the part where Louis takes Gage through the woods and the wendigo comes when I was home alone.

Pet Cemetary was not one of my faves. The Stand remains my absolute favorite work of his. I have read it twice and loved the tv adaptation. I could not believe how well they followed the book! Even the music they chose was dead on.

The stand was the first King book I read. I was 12.

The movie was pretty good. The effects were cheesey but it was still a good one.

I've currently got Duma Key but I'm working (very slowly) on Dean Koontz "The darkest evening of the year" first. One of my students is busy reading Duma Key while I've got the book here. We have 15 minutes of reading every wednesday.

Update on my locked camera thing:
I want back out to do a bit more shooting and could not get it to happen again. I'm hoping that this was a aberration and it doesn't happen again. It is scary to press that shutter button and nothing, no click, no picture.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I don't suppose you charged up the battery along the line.

The Stand is a very good book. Not the abridged version though, it cuts out to much stuff. The movie was OK. It was kinda interesting to put faces to the characters.

Dean writes a good book but I haven't read one of his in a while.

Morning all.
