A word of caution people, I have just heard on the news that a well known terrorist organisation have planted explosives in tins of Alphabetti Spaghetti, if they go off, it could spell disaster !

Woohoo. We've just ordered ours for Christmas - should be here tomorrow. Got a deal including a couple of games (MarioKart and some 'fun type' sports - More Game Party I think)

So far, we only have the sports and the Wii Play game (w/extra controller). I actually went out today to look at some games wasting time before picking up the kid from school. There are so many that I want to buy, but then again....there are some titles that are on both Wii and Xbox360 that I am gonna wait to buy on the Xbox360.

My boys are getting a Wii for Christmas too! They're getting all sorts of games to go with it... figure get enough to go with it so that they have plenty to play... with the prices of the games it's not cheap to buy new ones...

I always go for the used games when I want some for my Xbox....though while browsing the games today for the Wii and Xbox360 I noticed that all the desirable games are only $5 less than the new price ($45 to $59). I guess I've been spoiled not paying more than $15 for a game.

Up until this last year, I have not cared in the least for shoes. I had just enough to get by, and could happily wear the same pair of shoes till they wore out. In fact, I found a pair of comfortable shoes on sale, and bought 3 pair. They lasted me just over 2 years. And I wore them for everything... leisure, hiking, and church.

But lately, I've been having an almost uncontrollable urge to add to my non existant collection. And because Wade is not used to that AT ALL, he teases me incessantly about any new shoe purchase that I make.
I told him that I'm making up for lost years.

Yeah....come to my closet......half of it is taken up by Mari's shoes. The majority of which have only been worn once...if that. About 1 or 2 times a year, she bags many of them up to either sell or give away to people....she wastes more money on shoes than I do on anything else.:|

Marian is getting her pictures ready for book submissions, and we aren't sure where to put this one. Suggestions?

She has a building in Urban/Travel (which is where architecture goes), but the other categories are still open.
Is it more Landscape? Or BW/Experimental?

Well, the Wii is geared towards the younger crowd (5-17yrs old) The Xbox 360 has games geared towards the older crowd, 20+. Games are not as childish either. Then when you get the game titles that are on all consoles, the ones for the Xbox and Xbox360 have more computing power thus, better graphics, more elaborate levels and in terms of Halo, exclusive games. ;)

Hmmmm for me experimental because of the PP but it could go in both. I didn't know she was submitting, thats fun.

Oh forgot to add, I only want the Wii for the game Wii Fit. Friends of ours have it and have lost 10 lbs per month playing the game regularly. Other games on it sound attractive that I may buy like Clone Wars Lightsaber Duels which would only work on the Wii since the control can be put into mini lightsabers and you can fight throughout the game like a Jedi.
