Out on our evening hike up Nose Hill today, my puppy flushed out a real nice Whitetail buck bedded down in some tall grass. I tried to get him to take it down, he bounded after it, but to no avail. Back to chicken and bison heart for the wee fellow tomorrow.

That's fun but you have to decide if you want him chasing deer the rest of his life. Jinx has certainly chased a few but it is a no no here. There are too many deer and too many streets where I live. She gives a bound at them to make them run but doesn't go after them.
