That lemon reminds me of a nut cracking shot I did a year or two ago. Not nearly as good, but now I want to revisit the food smashing idea. :D

Canon 60d ISO 200/ 1 to 125
70-200 2.8 (which i had set to 7.1) at 120mm
2 Yunguno speedlights set to very low power (1 overhead and one close to the object)
2 Studiohut triggers
Canon remote shutter release cable
Fruit
2.5lb sledgehammer

If you try this, put plastic bags over ur speedlights and get a standard glass filter for you lens. Also safety goggles, it can get messy!!!

Nice setup/results. I'm going to try something similar over the weekend because I like what you've done.

Awesome! Have fun and post your results! I know a lot of people that do hi speed use sound/light triggers. I just use reflexes lol
