My first contribution to the food section, I have been taking some food photos of what we have been cooking lately but this is the best of the bunch. Something that seams easy is pretty tough.

Some crab caught today.

Took these out of their plastic cartons and put them in a bowl on the kitchen counter to nibble at as I go past and thought it would make a good photo.

Then decided to leave the camera & flashes setup to see if I could make a boring plate of dinner look a bit more interesting. Judging by the below, I guess not, but hey, it tasted good so who's complaining :D

Those scallops look great. I'm a sucker for scallops.. I had scallops with Lemon Curd the other day - sounds odd but works really well - scallops, crushed peas, lemon curd and a slice of parma ham..

Just had Pho for the first time this summer and i'm in love with it now.

Hehe, my dad is a chef and Pho is what he makes daily. If you ever get tired of it, try hu tiu, some sort of noodle similar to Pho but not Pho.

You guys inspired me to fiddle around while making my breakfast. I was pretty confident with them until I scrolled back down through yours and now I feel like I could've done better haha. Here they are anyway. Let me know what you think!

NOTE: I'm not equipped with nice plates and stuff yet. We have some plates but they're boring and scuffed up. Paper plates are my styyyle haha

With this "Finished Product" shot I wish I'd have turned it counter-clockwise a bit because, in the camera, the pepper added a lot but in the full shot it takes a lot of the attention away from the rest of the meal. I

Not completely sure about this shot but I liked it and it looked like it needed a tight crop.

I noticed just now that the tip of one of the pieces of bacon is cut off but I still think this is a nice shot. The bacon is, of course, raw in this picture. I was doing a step by step sort of thing.

The freshly cooked bacon. I like this shot I like the smoke rising up from it. This is a cropped shot. I had the full pan in the picture but the stove added a lot of highlights.
