navydoc Cream of the Crop More info | I treated myself to some sashimi grade Ahi Tuna from Allen Brothers a few days ago and thought I'd take a couple of photos while I grilled one last night. These were shot without flash hence the shallow DOF. My kitchen is a mix of overhead fluorescent and incandescent lights above the cooktop. These were shot just for fun and out of my comfort zone but thoughts, comments are welcome. Ahi tuna oiled up for the grill I grilled the steak on a preheated grill for my cooktop about two and a half minutes on each side. Remember: hot pan, cold oil, food won't stick.
