Hi everybody! My father just offered me either his 40D or his 5D. I don't really know which to decide on so what would you pick and why?

IQ of the 5D is awesome. Its pros are full frame sensor, amazing image quality and very nice high ISO handling. 40D handles high ISO well, has a 6.5 frame per second shooting rate and a faster auto-focus mechanism. Of course, the transfer doesn't take place until Dad's 5D mkII arrives.... Some stuff that says "Canon" on it and a happy trigger finger.
