I like this shot. The reflections of the lights makes it look like the water is on fire. It looks like tone mapping or HDR?

It is indeed HDR, or pseudo HDR at least. Generated from nine conversions of the same RAW file and tonemapped in Photomatix before some minor adjustments in Photoshop.

My 8 year old daughter thinks it is very nice too ............... probably code for "remember we are going there for my 12th birthday !!"

neat shot, I like the effect but I wish the sky was a little lighter and maybe more contrast, it almost seems like a dark blanket is on top holding this shot back a little

I actually did wonder if I had overdone it a little bit with the sky, so I might go back and redo that when I get a chance. Thanks man.

Very nice but the clouds look overwhelming. The reflections are great though. Also, is it me or does the horizon look a bit off to one side?
