Would you guys & gal's give me a SERIOUS C&C on my portfolio?

I'm going to put this together in a a few day's after I have uploaded about 10 more shots that I think are the best I've taken since I got into photography.

It's going to be my volunteer job app for a shooting range so I really need to get a portfolio made.

By the way I really don't know what the hell I'm doing as for a logo, so I know my logo will suck.

I never go to websites or portfolios to view multiple images, but this time I'm glad I did.

I'm impressed with your abilities as a photographer.

Your portfolio rocks.

Derek, you'll get more C&C if you post them on the forum rather than linking us, and you only post a few at a time. This way people will get more detailed with their evaluations of the photos. Just a suggestion.

Overall, very nice.
#10 has some shadow from where it looks like your flash was blocked.
#11 is nice, but looks to be a bit out of focus.
#20....go with the tighter crop that you have in your birds folder on smugmug.
I also like #6 and #8 from your Pensacola Museum folder.
And then from your birds....I like a few of that white peacock. #6 if you can clone out the dark door mat in the upper left.

Good luck on the volunteer position. I'm envious!

Are you going to be shooting outside?, inside?, flash?, or whatever comes up?

You have some good photos to show, and the only suggestion I could offer is to include some of the type you will be shooting. Such as if you're going to be shooting outside during conpetition then include some shots of someone doing something outside. If you're going to be shooting portraits, then include some of those.

Good luck and don't forget to come back and post some of your new work here!

Well if I get hired to shoot for free there it will be an indoor and out door gun range, low light except for in the dinner area and the outdoor part of it will be during the summer time and also they have an indoor archery range.
