Is there anything I can do (or should have done) to make this photo better

Foreground looks good but the hut looks backward tilted.

Maybe a closer crop of just the front of the hut shows as background with all the flowers in front.

Way too much sharpening?

The white on the door and the red of the flowers looks a little off to me. Maybe too much sharpening, as mentioned above, or too much contrast?

ok I took some off of the sharpening and the contrast
any better?

I like the added yellow, it makes it look more natural

From your original I'd brighten a bit and I like the sharpness you applied. I wonder how it would look if you could see the entire roof?
