I'm having problems exporting jpg's from Aperture. It seem every 50 or so photos exported is off on the sharpness from the original. Anyone else have this problem? Has anyone found a fix other than using Lightroom? I tried deleting the previews and regenerating without success. What I'm having to do now is saving from photoshop but that is getting annoying... Help Please!

Just wondering, what screen resolution are you using? I use aperture and thought there was a sharpness problem but it was just that my screen resolution was too low.

1920x1200 - I was just over at Apple's Aperture forums and it seems I'm not the only one complaining about this. It's weird, it's happening about every 50 photo's. I really did 't want to have to go over every photo uploaded to a gallery to possibly have to edit again.

I'm in the process of testing the quality settings and size's to see if it will help.

Ok now I'm interested. This problem that you experience, does it happen to all of the shots you export or just a single photo?

Never herd of this problem before. I have never exported over 40 or so shots though at one time.

Are you using a plug-in to do the exporting? What is your workflow? Details and a pic would be nice.

It doesn't do it on single photos. Only when exporting a large amount. The first thing I thought of was the preview was corrupted so I deleted it but still happened. What I've got is a Mobile Me gallery that I sync with Aperture. The first couple of tries of repairing the problem was a "preview & sync conflict issue". I decided to delete the Mobile Me album's and the preview's in question, then regenerate & export to a folder on the desktop. Of the 93 photos in the folder 3 are off from the original. If I take the same through photoshop there all ok. I've filed a bug report with Apple so we'll see where that gets me...

I think as it's getting late tonight I'll wait till tomorrow and try making a new album from the masters and see what it does. Maybe my album is corrupt!

Weird, I only use projects in aperture, and export from there.
