I took my son with me when i was photographing another 5 month old and they were fascinated by each other

Cute! But they look out of focus. #1 seems to be on the right chair's arm. #4 looks like it's on the shirt\lower half

Thanks for the tip I'm still trying to figure out the focus thing...

I couldnt figure out how to focus on both of them in the first on so I just put it on auto and crossed my fingers >.<

any tips on what to do when you need to focus on more than one person?

Edit: these were done a couple days ago.. I really had some photos come out BAD from not paying attention to my aperture settings

Sure. I'm no expert yet but try messing around with the f-stop. A higher number should give you more depth of field thus putting both subjects in focus.
