Following are a couple of shots, there are two things I'd like to get opinion on:

1) The photograph/composition itself
2) Which of the two effects below do you like better. #1 has minimal PP, #2 has soft focus effect applied to it. Is it overdone, or do you think it is ok?

Thanks for looking :)

I kinda like the dreamy effect in the second, but would like to see more detail brought back to the tracks themselves. It's pretty, great colors!

^+1. Nice shot, if anything perhaps a little too centered, but the dreamy effect is nice (but the tracks sharp would be better!).

A shot like this Screams to be centered in my opinion. But I spend my days designing custom homes so I might be to aligned!

I like #1 as it is, but if you like the soft focus look, definitely go with this one where the tracks are sharp.

Eh, but I do really like it this way, too. I think it depends on what look you're trying to convey. Anyway, great shot!

the original is better, i would have waited a couple of week to capture more colour in the trees, the soft focus is just not needed on a out standing shot

That last edit looks great. Sometimes you gotta break the rules.

I rather like the effect in the edit, it makes it look like a painting.

Agreed with the soft trees and sharp tracks, that looks the best. Nice capture.

I think you know its a great shot when you can change it so many ways and they all work, it comes down to preferences. I wish I took It :)
