Nice series... I like the first one just because it's a maternal thing.. . did you crop it? Because I'd like to see a little more of the mama to put it all in perspective. ;)

No, no crop... That's the full 400mm from my 100-400 on a 40D.

I did shoot a couple wider but since I couldn't get the entire momma in the frame, I liked this better than random Zebra bits.

Thanks Bill...

Although it loses a little something in jpg and compressed for the web, I am most happy with that one as well...

The full res RAW has nice deep, rich indigo shades in the shadow below and behind while the dirt worked as a natural gold reflector.
