Whats the going rate?

My girlfriend wants to sell her XTi. What should I ballpark the price to be around seeing as how Im going to be selling it? Same with an EF-s 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 as thats a lens she's going to have to sell when she gets rid of her 400D.

Not sure if this is allowed on the forum rules but I just sold an XTi for right aroudn $400.00, they seem to be holding there right now.

I have been trying to sell mine at $400 for nearly a month and it is like new. I would say around $350 most likely. I am not budging.

I am starting to feel the same way.

Heh, got mine for $600 last year, used it for one year, saved up to buy my next body and sold for $200 loss. Not too bad for me, but the loss vs. cash in hand is a weight for anyone, but with XSi's out now and 40D's going for $600 used what do you expect?

i got my xti from costco, used it for about one year then returned it for no loss (unless you count the $50 costco membership as a loss)

I personally find that Costco policy to be dishonest when used in this instance.

the benefits of selling at a loss did not outweigh my moral hang-up.
