Just a couple bald eagles frollicking in the winter water.
The best one of the series as far as I am concerned

canonloader Cream of the Crop More info | Nov 10, 2008 15:03 | #3 Wow, what a shot. I have never seen them frollicking, but I have seen them dive right in like a huge Osprey and drag a fish as big as themsleves 50 yards to the edge of the ice before they could drag it out, and that in 20 below temps. That's dedication. These birds do not do anything to waste a single calorie in dead of winter, too hard to earn it back. Which is why it's illegal to pester eagles, make them fly. I've never seen them waste a single wing flap. Mitch- ____...^.^...____

I had to shoot at ISO 1000 to get the shutter speed I needed. Canon 30D :: Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L :: Canon EF 70 - 200mm f/4 L IS :: Canon 300mm F4 L IS :: Giottos Lava Tripod with Ballhead
