Nice catch. He would be ugly cute if it wasn't for the evil eye. It gives him a sinister look.

Yes....they are about the size of an ostrich.

Emus are fun. The second shot is a little underexposed. Looks like it's heading straight towards you! :lol: The emu itself in the first shot is a little underexposed too, but a higher exposure would have began to kill the background. So that's a creative decision you have to make - or you can meter for the background and shoot off a little fill-flash for a nice compromise. Thanks for sharing!

Following up on the last post, maybe just bump the contrast up a bit with the first one? Compared to how nasty emus usually look to me, I think the image is nicely sympathetic.
