I have added Penny (pennypue), Joe (Pyromaniac) and Matt (fergpm) to the list of those who are able to add events to the calendar. Here are the "guidelines" for adding events.

1. We can discuss upcoming events here or on the Ohio POTN Facebook page.
2. PM or email one of those listed above or me to have an event added to the calendar.
3. We aren't limiting the events to Ohio. If there is an event in the Kentucky or Indiana area.

Scott (ScottDR) has been added to the "admin" staff of the Ohio POTN Google Calendar. You can e-mail or PM him in order to have an event added to the calendar. Thanks, Scott.

Hey all,

Was off-line for a few days with computer issues. Hope everyone is doing well!

Anyone have plans to photograph anything this weekend?

Between 3 and 5 today, people are protesting at fountain square, cincinnatiteaparty.org which might be a great photo opportunity.

Matt (fergpm) is down at the Tea Party. I took a group down to St. Mary's Cathedral in Covington, KY. We definitely need to have a trip down here. I'll post details later. It's beautiful inside.

Ok, St. Mary's Cathedral in Covington, KY is beautiful. The 24-105 is just too much lens for this beautiful church. Joe, you'll need your 16-35. I might rent one of the 10-22 for our trip down there. There was a concert in the church so I didn't take any inside pics. We'll do that later. Anyway, here are a few pics from today.

Which sign? I'll check my pics that didn't make that post and see if I got her. I got somewhere in the area of 370 shots while there.

Matt, you definitely captured the action downtown at the tea party. An interesting crowd to say the least!

Kevin, I was afraid to hear someone say that about the 24-105 and the cathedral. Crap. I need either a 5dMKII or that 14L 2.8 II that Canon tempted me with at the Grand Canyon. *sigh* Really like your posted shots though, my favorite is the first.

Hope everyone is surviving Monday!

That's why I'm going to rent the 10-22. f/5.6 inside w/ a flash should be ok. Provided there is enough light coming in from the massive windows. The ceilings are 40-50 feet, so bouncing is out of the question. I had the 24-105 on the MkIIn at a 1.3 crop. It'll be worse on the 30D/40D.

Oh yes, I forgot you moved up to the MkIIN!

Now, where is that lottery ticket again? LOL
