Yeah, they won. Turned out to be a real good game. On another note, I went and bought a membership to the zoo today. I try to buy a membership to at least one place a year. Last year it was the museum center. Need something to keep the five kiddies busy.

5....my body hurts just thinking about you and Thing 1. 4 is killin' me. Love em to death but I'm draggin' 24/7 365. Zoo (gift yearly from my wife's parents) and museum center (good rain alternative). Sharon woods is right near us as well....and a little Park in Sharonville - Gower.

We have been going to Sharon woods quite a bit here lately. It is about a half hour away for us but worth it.

Sharon Woods is great. I also found a little sweet spot in Winton Woods a few weeks ago. Here's a shot from that hidden gem.

My wife got me a new Flashpoint strobe for my birthday. This works quite well with my Alienbee. It is a nice strobe from Adorama for very little money. My birthday isn't until Sunday, but she gave it to me early. Going to set them up tomorrow to take some shots of my kids.

I have been wanting to explore Winton woods, but have not done so yet. The only place that I have been in there is Parky's farm for the kids.

This group has been quiet. How is everyone doing?

Busy, busy, busy. Family in, kids, kids, travel (upcoming). All good here though. Shot my first for $ photography a week ago. Political fundraiser of all things. Reminded me of a wedding though because you kind of reacted, and then had the staged shots and you only had a second to file people through. Turned out decent and pretty fun.

I haven't really done any photography as of late. Been busy with other things but I need to get out there.

I plan to hit the Butterfly Show. Particularly on the photo nights. It's kind of nice when it's full of kids that I might step on by mistake! Although, by that time of day most of the school groups have come through on the butterflies aren't all looking too perky!!

I've never been and I'm off this week. Does anyone know if strollers are OK?

I am from Hamilton just north of Cincinnati and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for some interesting places to shoot.
I have been to most of the known areas such as the parks and downtown and like to take pictures in lesser know areas so thought I would ask here for suggestions.

Thanks

My suggestion would be to go out and get lost:D. Drive down streets that you haven't been down before. Go out and explore and get off the beaten path. I tell my kids all the time that it is not always about the destination but the adventure of seeing and doing new things along the way.

I know that strollers are fine for the Conservatory itself. I am sure that it is fine for the show as well. You could call them at 513.421.5707 and make sure.

Thanks for the reply, and a good suggestion. I try to do this as much as possible but unfortunately I don't always have much time so was looking for some more specific places to get lost at.
