Hi Fellow Forum'ers...

I will have the opportunity to shoot a model in and around Tuscon in a few weeks time. This will be my first trip out west. Any advise as to what are hot locations for model style shooting in that area?

Some people have mentioned Sedona and places as such. Is Tuscon limited in locations? Would appreciate some insight from local photographers and or people who have visited the area and are able to provide specifics of where to do outdoor shoots.

Thx in advance.

Max

Not sure what kind of scenes you want. Tucson has Saguaro NP, an old west style movie set, the Biosphere, lots of desert, a colorful old Indian mission, some great architecture (churches, chapels, homes, restaurants, etc), some beautiful neighborhoods, a place where old planes are stored in the desert, etc, etc. It's a great town to visit, but only you can say if it has what you want.

I live in Tucson, if she isn't to much of a prude, go to sabino canyon "seven falls", or go to MT lemmon. If you don't like the outdoor stuff you really are SOL.

Sedona is pretty far from Tucson, a 3 hour drive. It does have some very beautiful spots for shots though.

If you want to get crazy there is gun range that I go to, we take models out there and have them shot guns, and get in bikinis or whatever. Its fun stuff, different strokes for different people.

Email me with what you want and i will give you more locations.

John

You know, I was thinking of some of the boulders in Sabino Canyon. If you want outdoors shots, that would be a good place.
