Just run it through the HD lead, I hope you haven't spent silly money on one as its been proved that because HD signals are digital, thus a £100 lead performs no better than a £5 one!

BTW I have that plasma, stunning picture huh!

Did heaps of research at the start of year and the consensus was under 36 inch the LCD was better and over that go for the new generation plasmas. I went with the new Pioneer plasma - exceptional picture quality.

One day may even get to watch it if I didn't hang out here so much.

regarding the Toshiba player above -ALTHOUGH iv connected the HDMI cable to it and the TV it still needs the Scart lead to play the VHS vidio's, i carnt get it to play through the HDMI cable.
Eddit

Have you set the TV onto the appropriate HDMI input?

Well, i decided the 42inch was overkill and went for the 37inch version.

I've very happy with it :D

I have a 50" Panasonic plasma, a 62" Sony LCD and a 37" Toshiba LCD. All great pictures. The Sony is the oldest (3 years) and have had to replace a bulb once but nothing else. I haven't spent muct time watching the plasma but it looks like it has a great picture.
