thats a no brainer. You are smart to have transfered the weight of the cash in your wallet to your hands. Equal right ?

But when you are used to the compactness of the SX100, which was fantastic at it's youth, the SX10 is a bit bulky & heavy lah.

I loved the moods of these shots. It has the weekend-now relax mood.

I have a suggestion if you have the opportunity to snap a sunset. Try EV-1 or EV-1 1/3 , it may just bring out the sun as a round globe.

Here are a few select shots that I took on vacation in Vegas during this last week. Took some good video's of the Fountains at Bellagio with the camera as well, and they turned out great.

I've never tried macro photography before, but here is the best of my first few attempts with the SX 10 is.

Hi, sure m8, always after some help. Post it if you like.
When I took this I zoomed in fully, then when I looked back at it and zoomed in through playback it looked perfect, but the transition from camera to PC does not look so good.

It is a good picture. Just at higher ISO's you tend to get a noise that equates well with grain from the old film days. Someone here pointed this out to me and told me about the program "NoiseWare" that can be used to remove some noise. You have to be careful as it can also remove some detail.

Just wanted to add a couple from the last few days.

I think the SX10is in (good light) gives me better images than my 350D & 55-250is and thats saying something. The reach of the lens is outstanding.

Ouch, thats how fast I am forgotten over the weekend.
