I'll bet a shiny nickel that the convenience of an all-in-one decent camera has something to do with it! Nice shots - a pleasure to see what this camera is capable of...

Very nice. I also like to keep my camera set to "Vivid Color"

May I ask, why widescreen? I do set it to that if I am going to use the pictures in a DVD for widescreen TV. If not, I alsays use "large - Superfine".

This camera is very good in good light. I only use 80iso to get the very best IQ.
Hope these help anyone looking who is undecided about getting this fun camera.

. . . and judging by your subject matter, widescreen's a better match to their layout than 4:3 would be. Still, shooting 4:3 doesn't cost you pixels and leaves you cropping space for, say, 8x10 prints.

Hello everyone, I enjoy photos of birds and I try to do my photos
better. I think I am a l doing a little better. In these photos I used the CHDK in my SX10. I used the remote control and set the MF to the beak of the metal bird. When the Dove landed on the water bowl I took the photos. I used the Review to Off so I did not have to wait and see the shot. I hope you enjoy them.

I just finished precessing and posting some shots I took at a local nature preserve earlier today. Because they are posted in another forum, I did not want to post them here.

They are posted in the bird forum, here is a link to the post:
