It seems that the forecast for the economy ranges anywhere from a “moderate downturn” to a “depression”, depending on how full your glass is. So, what plans does everyone have to whether the storm? Do you plan on any changes in your business model? Will you delay or eliminate purchases of equipment? What do you see on the horizon for the everyday photographer trying to make it in the world?

Storing up like a chipmonk and trying to land more clients for '09 during this off-season. Re-working how I do things to make it more efficient, all the little things that ad up hopefully.

I will wait on a purchase or two. I don't think the US economy is near as bad as Matt Lauer wants me to believe it is. I think it was politically judicious timing. Most people have lived through several recessions and don't even realize it.

We are not suffering as my job is pretty rock steady and my hubby has a great retirement income. Fortunately, we also don't owe anybody any money :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Personally, I've updated my resume in hopes of becoming a professional hobo.

I'm just going to keep buying stuff until I either cripple the economy or boost it enough that there's no more problems.

Must get this off my chest....

If the stock market goes up, Matt Lauer will say

"The market is up, but how long can it last?"

If it goes down, Matt will say

"The market is down, how bad will it get?"

He is not the only offender, but he is personally my favorite whipping boy.

Hey, they replaced the Today show cast with Muppets today, and I hardly noticed the difference!
