Hi new to this forum but came across here looking for some solutions to issues seen on this lens (VC kicking in was causing a movement in lens that was disconcerting but apparently expected)
Here are a few shots I have managed to snap with this lens in my short ownership of the lens. I have applied a Chromatic Aberration adjustment to the Seals in order to remove lines top and bottom of the seals.

So glad I bought the lens as it gives me a great range compared tot he kit lens that came with the 500D, all i need to do now is learn more about Exposure/Aperture settings as I am off to Wales in a few weeks, and hoping to capture the scenery.
I was playing around last night in low light, but the pictures got very noisy as I tried to reduce the Aperture and increase exposure, ISO was automatically switching to 1600 and quality was lost dramatically.
