Do you prefer this in color or B&W? I think I like it better in B&W because the fence doesn't stand out as badly.

Anything I could do to make the shot better in post? So far I've applied some noise reduction, usm, and applied gaussian blur to the leaves to the right since they were in focus and somewhat distracting. For the b&w conversion I used the channel mixer with the IR setting. I'm thinking of having it printed and would like to find anything wrong before rather than after :)

Other C&C welcome too. Thanks for looking.

Cute pup....... personally I am not sure I like the fence in the photo and the dog is looking in the direction of the fence....
Nice and crisp shot though.

It's a nice shot, but I agree with stathunter, the fence post is very distracting since it goes straight thru his head and I would love to see the dog looking out instead of back. I think you did a good job on the conversion and I think I prefer the B&W, but I like the color, too.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Maybe I'll see if I can clone the fence post (not likely )

Requested shot of eyes :)
