Did anyone notice Lexar changed their rebate?

They did have up to $80 back on the 8 GB 300x but they seemed to have pulled it and got more in line with the SanDisk rebates. If you look around the original MIR can still be found and is good till after the first on the new year.

B&H is still showing the $80 on the 8gb card. I bought three of them last week.

I though the $80 rebate was for the 133x card? That's what I just got from Adorama.

That's the 300x card. Was there an $80 rebate on that as well? These are the cards I bought, with the rebate $7.95 each. I never do more than ten or so shots bursting so I do fine with the slower cards.

Now I feel like a dope, I just noticed that you did specify the 300x cards in the OP.

Yeah I got one from Adorama with the $80 MIR (external link) but Lexar seems to have quit running this promotion, although the form shows it valid until 1/15/09.

I'm sure I could dig up a form but their 133x cards suit my needs just fine. What I need to find is a good firewire CF reader, full 4 and 8gb cards take forever to upload to the computer.

You missed out on that. I posted a thread a few weeks back where Canoga Camera had the SanDisk FW reader + 2 gig Extreme IV CF for only $29.95.
