I would love some criticism. I am terrible at shooting People. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

*side note...the image is the way i shot it except for some contrast work i did on it. other than that, its the way it was shot.

Yes. I know. Honestly it wasn't going to make it to the internet, I just shot it to show my girlfriend. But the colors and her pose made me take a second look at this photo.

Good composition and colors. It makes you wonder what she is thinking as she looks out into the ocean.

I would be thinking I could stay here forever! Have to say our beaches here in New Jersey just don't compare.

I Agree that it is a great shot so my critique is maybe the model would be pose to the right or to the left in the frame. so I like the color and exposure.

Don't see what was so funny about the suit. She looks nice and the water color and lighting look great. I agree with Flyingphotog on this one. Why are you laughing about her bathing suit. It was not a modeling shoot was it?

Thanks for all the comments. Now i feel bad DonE :(. I guess its not as bad as I was making it out to be. Ill try to be nicer?.

I was thinking of taking out the surfer on the left of the picture and I see now that she is not in the right part of the frame. I am still working on that in my shooting so bear with me. Could PS Fabio in to the water and give her something to stare at?! :)

agree w/all. Colors are great. Bathing suite is fine. No humor here. Her gazing out into the wild blue ocean is just that....I would crop the sky down a hair.

Just a candid I shot because I couldn't stop laughing about her bathing suit.

What's wrong with her bathing suit?

i'm guessing its w.r.t the wedgie?
Either way it makes me wish I could be elsewhere than the winter grip that will be upon the midwest for the next six months :(

Ok I edited the comment that I made about her suit. I realize that it was not very nice. My apologies to everyone. I have taken 1downfall and Geo's advice and cropped it a little. Better? Worse?
