I wondered about that, but it would be slow. The normal monsoon buckets drop into the water to fill...hence the urban legend about the scuba diver being picked up and dropped on a fire some place! (Did you see the movie Magnolia?)

Thanks! Winch no, hoses yes! We didn't actually see them pick up the water, they lowered the hose to demonstrate, then flew a couple miles away to the lake to fill 'er up, then came back to make the big splash:-)
