Here's a few from the other night. To be honest, I struggled!

I've some more to go through so I might see if there's anything else worth sharing.

Didn't get much to shout about! Never mind - onto the snaps....

#1 Beemer at Druids

#2 Fezza at Hailwood Hill

#3 Porker a bit further up - is the angle too much? What about the flare? Answers on a postcard to BigDaveTheMighty, Photo Feedback Comp, Big Dave Towers, The Garden of England.

#4 Fezza on the way out of Druids. A bit noisy perhaps?

#5 His Lordship after having Jeeves fix the car for him following the shunt on Friday (See Nick's thread from Friday)

#6 And finally - another porker. I quite like this one...

I tried pretty hard throughout the evening to get shots which still had a bit of speed to them. Not the easiest thing to do in the dark. There was some good info on John Thawley's blog from Petit Le Mans. So thanks John, that helped with the theory! Just need a bit more practice in the dark now!

C&C welcome as ever.

All the best

Dave

Like the last one matey... they are gonna be noisy if no flash was used , but i also heeded Thawley's writeup and kept the flash off for most shots..

i think a sligtly lit race track does help though , trying to setup manual focus in pitch black or autofocusing on a break light etc is hard work...

ill be happy enough to shoot in the daylight again! ha ha

Like the last one - I was there as well an I am not suprised you struggled, night time was hysterical - I had to deal withe either the cars being invisible apart from the glowing brake discs and savage headlights, or a flash gun lighting everything up and ruining the exposeure :_)

Worth it, though, top racing and great fun!!
