The colors are vivid while giving it a soft painterly effect, I think its well deserved of a spot on the wall!

A beautiful portrait that deserves a prominent place on your wall. I just love the PP. I'm sure we would all like to know your technique.

Not over the top at all, that is gorgeous. Care to share your process (or did you? I have to go back and look).

Nice work.

thanks for all the comments, its quite easy to do the hard part is finding suitable high res textures.
Its 3 layer 2 set to soft light and 1 overlay each with a different texture on then adjust the opacity to suit each layer.

I will have done a bit of colour tweaking and curve adjustment on the base image

Hope that helps and thanks again
Carl

I like it as well, although I would crop a chunk off the bottom and play with cropping some off the top, or not, maybe explore a square crop ? ? ? I just don't care for the bottom part but by cropping most of it off places the child just a touch too low in the shot. I love extra room above the heads of small child shots (gives them room to grow), but after losing some of the bottom it might be too much so I'd trim just a tiny bit and see how that goes.
