These images are not up to my usual standards, but were what I could do under the conditions. This is a difficult species to capture without a blind, but I had a pair in the area I was working, so I stalked it with the 600mm f/4 L on the 1DsMII. These are all hand held images, and significant crops. I observed both the male and female in the area, and identified some favorite perches. Might try a blind setup on them to see if it pays off.

I particularly like the 1st one, just something about the angle of the wings that catches my eye.
