I love the way he's mimicking the iPod billboard pose. Another great capture Pio.

I like the busy background in the street far in the background with the area where we are quiet and almost no people and cars. The poster and person in unison dramatises the effect of wanting to get away. The slight movement captured builds the effect and the shot works for me. Good drama and art.

I think I know where that is. Nice photo, I never would have thought to snap a picture if I was walking down that street.

Great shot! It's especially cool because I know exactly where that is and I walk by there all the time. Love the mood.

been wondering where you've been pio, i was expecting guaranteed and always helpful critique of my shots from you :) i've missed your shots too needless to say. this is another good one. i don't think it'd be the same if it weren't for the reflections from the ground

Hi thanks for looking and for the comments! I forgot about this thread and have been busy a bit lately. I am glad people picked up on the similarities between the main subject and the Ipod poster. Tom is right too, the store on the left is a seafood market and the ladies are preparing the crushed ice to lay the fish/shrimp/crabs/shellfish on. The covered wooden tubs on the left are full of blue crabs. This was taken one early rainy morning in Manhattan.
