Nightmasters at Barbagallo

Last Saturday (15/11/2008.) was the Nightmasters Grand Finale
also the WA Sporting Car Club's 40th anniversary of motorsport
i borrowed a 300mm f2.8 L IS for the day/night, and set about learning how to use this fine piece of optical engineering (first time using IS and Big white lens)
I used a combination of 1dmk2n and 40d, with 300 and sigma 70-200 f2.8 lenses, canon 50mm f1.8 and 580ex speedlight

Really like the 2nd, couldnt really tell you why though!

Looks like you made fine use of the 300. I hate to say this but will, your water mark is a little too much.

The watermark is so off putting I didn't bother looking at the pics properly ....

thanks guys, i know the watermark is over the top, but i have had photos "borrowed" from my site and used on a motorsport news site, i dont know where they were taken from, but they just cropped my little watermark off the corner, so everything going online gets this watermark from now on
i may turn the opacity down a little bit next time though
