Unlike traditional HDR, these particular ones are achieved by the redynamix photoshop plugin and PS tweaks to give a pseudo HDR. It can be done in PS alone but takes ages. Technically, you are not combining multiple images to expand the original photo's dynamic range. -------------

When I need to do "real" HDR photos with moving elements, it is a judicious use of layers, the original images and masks. Moving people etc. are blended back into the HDR scene after fettling with levels/curves etc. Thanks for the insight, love the pics.
