Zoombrowser is not an editing tool.

DPP, ACR, PSCS3,and Bridge. Havn't used ZB forever except to give Raw Image Task a play with Canon's Picture Style Files. I don't even know why I keep them on my computer except maybe the delete button is too hard to push!

ZB contains a cute little applet for downloading from a card reader and creating a file named with the date shot (like EOS Utility does for a camera-pc download). I kept the applet and uninstalled all the rest after taking a quick look at ZB.

Neither.

I use DPP to convert my Raw images and PS to process, but my viewing is done using Windows if I need to, which is not often.

I use zoombrowser if I want to simply view a bunch of RAW files I just downloaded to my computer. The bonus is that I can open the folder and just use the right arrow to scroll through the pictures as opposed to DPP where I need to close and open each file individually.

There are two ways you can scroll through a set of photos using Next and Previous arrows in DPP. A. Select all the images you want to browse, use the Quick Check tool. B. Select the images, click the Edit Image Window - upper left corner. Option A is faster because the embedded jpgs are used and option B has to perform an actual on-the-fly conversion for the display image, so it takes several sconds for each image to appear.
