Hello All,

C and C on this image please. Rate the photos on the scale of 1 to 5, of which 1 is the least and 5 is the best. Let me know what you liked about this and what you did not like about this.

It will help me a lot.

Taken with Canon 400D and 18-55 IS

Thanks,
~Ravi Kumar S K

#1 would be great if those two sticks weren't there. #2 I feel like we should be looking at his face instead of back end :)

Cardinal rule with animal pictures (Portraits too, I guess): you must have the eye and it must be in focus. In your first shots, you have the eye. However, it looks like you've also got some movement blur from either the toad or the camera. The blades of grass or occluding the frog are no help in this image either.

In the second, we have a nice view of the back side of a toad. All we can see of the eye is the knob and it's out of focus.

For #1, I give it a 3, the sticks are really distracting, but the focus and detail on him is really great.

For #2, i give it 3 as well. The colors, detail, and perspective are nice but....all I can see is his butt.
