Some pics from the Roger Albert Clark Rally which in my opinion is by far the best rally of the Year. Had a cracking two days starting at Olivers Mount Scarborough then up to Forest Ae in Scotland, roll on the next one.

Darren,

This is a really nice selection of shots from the RAC. I particularly like the after dark shots from Olivers Mount - the colour in the sky is really what makes them for me.

The RAC rally has a unique atmosphere about it which I very much enjoy. However, unless they can create bigger entries and variety of cars (this year really was a bit death by Escort) then I'd stop short of saying it's the #1 rally. Fix those two things and keep the same format though, and I really do think they would have the best rally in the country by far.

Cheers,

Simon.

Very nice photos. I particularly like the evening and night shots as I know how difficult these can be to get right. Well done.

Darren, I've genuinely been looking forward to seeing your shots from the R.A.C and they certainly don't disappoint.

The sunset shots are superb but if pressed to pick a favourite, it would have to be the shot of Collins' Ascona. Lots of energy in that shot and I love the look on his face shows how everything is under control.

Great stuff,

Rhod.

Darren,
This is even by your high standards a spectacular set,a fabulous mix of shots ,and top drawer.
There is nothing to critique, they are all wonderful.
If pushed would pick out 7 as my fave but 5 is terrific, sharp,no distractions, great lighting , 8 is a fantastic flash shot,no question.

Brilliant work ,and a very high benchmark series.

Darren,
Sensational set of pics.
Nothing quite like an Escort with a bit of opposite lock.
I also don't mind the tyre smoke peeling off the Porsche - cool.
