This works well in B&W. I think the busy background (outside the tent) is a bit distracting. Maybe some faux depth of field blur in Photoshop would keep the eye on the fellow.

I like this shot much better than your other series.
Here, we get a definite message - now I understand a little better what is going on in the other series.

Again, the shot is technically very good, and on this one there is a much higher level of interest, because we are better focused on a particular activity.
