Middle School Basketball Tourny

My son played in his school hosted basketball tourny last weekend. Four other teams showed up for a 15 hour day of pure unseeded games and then two more days of seeded double elemination round robin play. Here are some of the shots....

this girl is probably the best 8th grader point guard in the state and plays on the alaska all star team with my freshman daughter...

thanks, I use an older 30D and a 1.8 at 1.8 and ISO at 1600

Now that I look at these on my big work monitor they look like crap...lol...thats unbelievable!

Surprisingly low noise for 1600.

I think they are good shots... On my work monitor, the white balance seems off, but that's easily fixed.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I shot a 3x3 tourny this weekend that my kids were in (alng with 50 other teams, not bad for an island community of 11k). anyway, I shot from 5pm to 1am last night and finished working through the pictures this afternnon. I will post some of them on another thread, at least some of them are better then these...lol
