might be getting white lens

was at hospital yesterdaywith mrs having 20 week scan, reading photo mag i was looking at one of shop adverts. She says is that lens you was on about looking at 70-200 f2.8 IS i say no it was the f4 but looked similar and cheaper.
Why go for the cheaper one i explain mostly be used on kids walk about not low light .She says how much which i tell her then she says oh you can pay monthly why dont you get it .Well i was gob smacked looking at her not saying owt ,she asys whats a matter ? i reply i thought you would have gone mad to which she replies just dont tell me the price very often.:D

LOL, had a similar conversation with my wife when I was contemplating the Sigma 120-400/150-500 or the 100-400L. She said "If the white one is the one you really want, get it...." B&H dropped it on my stoop two days later :lol:

funny you should say that she was saying what kind of prices do they go up to when i told her she said you can forget that or it will cost you a conservatory:shock:.
so still waiting for what she wants i can see the cogs turning slowly.

In my situation, it was the next morning. I had to decide to go via Amazon (I'm a Prime member) or B&H. I ended up going B&H....
