I like the last one best Tiff - those are really neat! Truly shows the variety in design....

Thanks. That one seems to be the winner!

WOW Tiff!!! Those are really great. Are those taken with the new 5D?

Thanks. And, no. They weren't. I thought using the Xti would give me a better closeup given the crop factor and I was too lazy to dig out the 5D while I was melting on the carpet.

Just got the information I was waiting on!!! Got an awesome wedding booked for July 18! It's two hours west of here, and should be a lot of fun! Mailing the agreement tomorrow - technically it's not "booked" but at this point, it pretty much is. I have been working hard on getting this client for about a month. I'm excited though :D 2009 seems to hold more greatness in store :)

But with such high resolution of the 5D you should be able to crop in quite a bit and still have usable images. How else are you going to learn the abilities of the camera unless you use it?

Says the gentleman with the L's that never posts pictures. Seriously, I was melting on the carpet and had limited time before Ian got pissy. They turned out nice so that's all I care about.

Hello peeps. :):) I am so sore today. We were out skiing most of the day Saturday and then again yesterday. I have muscles hurting in places I didn’t know I have muscles. :):)

Actually, for real small stuff the XTi will do better than the 5D especially if you get down to the 100mm 1:1 range because of the XTis higher pixel density. At 1:1 the XTi will put more pixels on the snowflake giving you more resolution.. But you got a great point about using the camera though. Tiff, ya gotta get out there and get use to the thing. It does shoot a little differently.
