Don't wish away the single life for being married all that quick. Enjoy the time you have to just yourself before you get married and everyone in your life makes demands on you and you run out of time to play.

Oh I definitely am! I am having fun, I just need to expand my circle of friends to some that are not getting married haha, but I am also open to marriage, I am just trying to be happy living life, I know all things will come when they are supposed to.

Hello everyone.

My 4th enV2 just died on me this morning. It was kind enough to wake me, and then I get to work and it is dead but it had a full battery and was just charged Sunday night, and had only been charged mayyyyyyyyybe 3 times since I got it about two weeks ago. I think it had only been charged twice though.

The first one I had did this exact same thing. The second and third both ate batteries. And this one is back to the shorting out, or something. It wont turn on even when hooked to the charger.

Sooooo..... I have an appointment with Verizon at noon - Gonna push for a totally different new phone. I want the blackberry storm. But man it is pricey.

Why not? I know some guys that are currently running a scuba forums and video magazine. They started out with a GL2 and are now using an HC1 and an FX1. Start small and work your way up.

If you're worried about the tape deck why not look into the Hard Disk Drive camcorders? 60gb of HD video shouldn't be too bad, but it's like an iPod. If something goes wrong, you lose everything so you just need to load the stuff onto your computer as soon as possible. Just another option.

Tape may be dying completely, but i wont rely on Hard drives, EVER.

Either i get a camera that supports the 32gb SD cards or tape, those i can depend on.

But it looks like the 5D mark 2 is out of my hands if i do get something of that caliber.

Starting small, indeed, thats what im trying to do, the 100B is better than the Gl2 By a large margin, and it only costs about 200$ more.

Funny thing is i cant find any footage samples.

Get the blackberry Curve, like me, its totally affordable and it works like a charm.

It helps if you comment on other peoples' stuff too. If they know you they're more likely to reply.

And having a camcorder's going to make it harder, not easer, to shoot still. The two really don't want the same situations all that much.

I guess you're right

On the contrary, I think having both will get me to look at situations much more because I'll have to decide if it is something I want to tape or shoot

I don't know about that, HD tape camcorders are still going strong. I do agree that I wouldn't trust the hard drive camcorders.

Why not go for a mark 1?

See if there is anywhere that you can try the 100b out then

My good friend works there and he said that he liked his Curve over the Storm. He has the Storm now and it has been giving him issues.

The plan would have to be upgraded to accommodate the blackberry though - by $30/month. I dont mind paying my mom the difference. She has let Natalie and I both stay on their plan as it's cheaper that way and Verizon doesnt make even more money off us. No sense in having our own plan when we can just do that add a line and share minutes. Most of them are verizon to verizon anyway.

Sooooooo I have a few days to make the decision. They are sending me ANOTHER enV2. But, the manager is cool and is basically going to have me see him once the enV2 gets here (tomorrow I hope) and then he can do whatever it is to get me a different phone. I havent had 3 go bad within their timeframe but he is working with me on this so I am happy.

The only two phones I even halfway like are the curve and storm. I really dont care for the others they have. So I guess $30 a month more is worth it. Natalie is up for upgrade next month. So if she too gets one, it makes that extra money even more worth it.

a 1D mark 1? O.O!

ive tried the 100B....without batteries lol, and im going to have let someone visiting the states buy it anyway, looks like the reccesion doubles prices here, a $2600 camera costs about $4000.

Good morning. I don't have to be at work for another 2.5 hours thanks to a delay. Yippee. Too bad I'm up already.

What the heck!!! Yesterday the weatherman predicted a huge blizzard with gale force winds, blowing snow, basically the end of he world stuff. We got a beautiful day. It was sunny, blue sky, not even a hint of a wind.

Last night the weatherman predicted that the clouds would come back and it would be cold. HE DIDN'T SAY A FREAKING THING ABOUT THE BLIZZARD!!! AAAAHHHHhhhh.....

Ok.. I feel better now.

Yeah - go figure. They always put on stuff you dont need/want. I just cannot wait to sync my ical and stuff with it. I just know the day is going to come where my boss says NO MORE MACS AT WORK! That will suck, but only if I dont have a cool phone I just keep thinking.... if only the iphone were available for verizon.
