I went and looked at the 50D, and body only is still $1449, I can get it for $1079 at B&H.

Hello everyone.

My 4th enV2 just died on me this morning. It was kind enough to wake me, and then I get to work and it is dead but it had a full battery and was just charged Sunday night, and had only been charged mayyyyyyyyybe 3 times since I got it about two weeks ago. I think it had only been charged twice though.

The first one I had did this exact same thing. The second and third both ate batteries. And this one is back to the shorting out, or something. It wont turn on even when hooked to the charger.

Sooooo..... I have an appointment with Verizon at noon - Gonna push for a totally different new phone. I want the blackberry storm. But man it is pricey.

Goodness....what a pain. Glad you got the new one now....(I tried to catch up before posting, lol)

Good morning everyone! Got my blackberry curve last night. I love it so far! Finally went through and dwindled down my contact list - from 240 to 148. LOL I have the print out of all of them so if I ever need it, it will be in the safe. But the ones I left out I dont ever talk to anymore.

Jeff....I'm told you're the guy to ask this...I'm using wordpress on my own hosting for my blog, and I'd like to put a slideshow of the maternity pics up there...I can use the trials of either ProShow Gold or ShowitWeb for it....I've got them both right now. I tried to do the flash ones last night, and none of it is working. IDK if I need a plugin or widget or what, but I'm hoping you might have an idea???

I'm sitting here wishing we had another vehicle bad. Snow is falling and there is a trailer engulfed in flames. Talk about awesome photos. He had to take off quickly and the kids were eating. The fire needs put out so it's not like I could ask him to wait so I could get them bundled.
Oh well there will always be another fire... Or maybe I can bribe my brother into coming over and watching the monsters while I go shoot...

I have posted a slideshow of our Vegas trip - using ShowIt Web. The best resource I can send you to is... http://opensourcephoto​.net/forum/ Ask those guys there. Explain what is going on and I am sure someone can help. It has been almost a year since I posted it. I dont recall having any issues. The code I used to post it is the normal tags - I think hahahaha. I did another one after our Mexico trip in June. I hope that helps.

no. My brother was unreachable. Kyle said it was an awesome fire and would've taken awesome photos. I feel badly for the family. Apparently the dad made the call took the kids and the wife and left. He dropped them off at a family members house and came back. He didn't want them to watch it go up. They had to call in tankers from Paxton and Rantoul for help with the water. Apparently the dummys on Paxton decided they were going to try to get in on the action including you know who next door. The chief snapped something awful at them. I would've loved to witness that one.
Anywho we'll have another vehicle probably the 30th or the 31st and any call after that I can come in later to shoot. I'll also have a little bit better camera and lens, at least one. So I'm looking forward to that.

Does anyone want a 2 year old that just got one of his shots? He's a miserable little thing.

I LOVE my 85 1.8. It's AWESOME. I'm sure the 85 1.2L is better but theres a bit of a price difference.

Thanks Jeff, I kind of gave up. After literally 2 days of fighting with it...I got frustrated...BUT, I did find a plugin for wordpress that lets you display flash easily...its just that when I uploaded to youtube, it SQUASHED the pics and made them look TERRIBLE. PM me if you want to see it, I'll be glad to show you as long as you look at the "real" pics first.

70-200 L is more practical than a 1.2 85 ;p

So, a 85 1.8 would be better than a 50 1.4?

speaking of lenses what is a good macro to start out with? I'm entirely too busy right now to do the research.
