I think you have to go in the custom functions and ind the "liveview on" command to the 'set' button, then you just hit the button and presto, your all set. I used it a couple times just to play around with the feature... then decided that I really didn't need it (as I already knew...) so I changed the custom function for the set button to be image playback. well folks... that wraps up another weekend! it's time to go back to work. I'm kinda getting tired of all the rain we have been having here. it has rained every day for over a week, and it looks like it will continue this for over another week ![]() We got our first day of rain today for all of September!!! A great span of good weather in Southern Ontario. Alan

I need something in the 18-100 mm range, I'd be happy for 30-70mm range, would like Aperture wider than 3.5, can't even entertain an L... My portrait lens died, and would cost more to repair than replace. I'd really like to have something so that I can get back in the game by the holiday rush. I have the kit lens from when I got my XT, but I'd really like a better lens than that. Kaylene

Be aware the Siggie takes 82 mm filters while the L takes 77, so filter price will be markedly different. I forget what the Tammie uses. 72, maybe? Jon

We have 4 offers out, nothing is looking very promising at the moment, I'm just waiting on the sellers bank to decide to approve our offer on our favorite, but they're in NO rush whatsoever. I jsut really want to take a break in looking, I've poured SO much energy into it, and am not seeing ANYTHING for all of it, I even saw 6-8 houses yesterday, and there is something just not workable about every house, the two that I liked were either way out of budget, had too many good offers on them already and/or too long of a commute. Nobody wants to sell in this market, so if they can the rent out, which leaves only short sales, foreclosures, and people weeks away from short sale or foreclosure situations or who just have a really crappy property they want to unload, or a new house on the market is off the market again before we'd have a chance to view it. I'm just REALLY hoping something will work out for us soon. Sorry to wine. Almost had a family photoshoot Tuesday, but the weather didn't co-operate. I need to order cards and get myself back out there! I have a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8EX DG Macro that I'm willing to part with (PM me if you're interested). It's an excellent lens but I've been considering selling it to raise funds for something else Alan

Only reason I'm contemplating replacing it is to get the 12-24 so I have better ultra-wide on a crop. Jon
