Kevin's doing even better tonight. I'm SO glad he's made it and SO glad that we're making progress.

Good news, Hubby's OK. He's still going to be in the ICU for a while, and isn't out of the woods, but they closed up his wound and let him come out of the induced coma.

That's great news! I hope you're coping as well. I'm sure it's been stressful for you too... all the worry and taking care of 'life' on your own. I don't think we realize how much we'd miss our spouses if they weren't with us for any length of time!

Chet - great shots. I love the processing (even if you were forced into it).

Thanks Alan, I've lost 15 pounds through stress and worry, but managed to keep it steady at that for the last 2 days. Kevin is doing really well.

Glad to hear Kevin is doing better! even I was worried there for a bit! I got out and did an engagement shoot this weekend. we were trying to get some fall colors.. and I think we succeeded.

gotta get back to work! something about the fall is there is always too much work to do!

I posted these in the Wedding Photog thread, but I might as well show em to you guys too.

I did this couple's engagements about 3 years ago, and she asked me to get some new shots for them. I had lots of fun doing this shoot, and I think the pictures turned out well

He's out of the ICU!

well... I just thought I would let you all know that I am alive and unhurt.

Thursday morning on the way to work right after I dropped my wife off at her work and I was headed to the parking lot for my work, I am heading through an intersection (green light) and an oncoming car that wanted to make a left hand turn across my lane decided that she would like me to test my brakes... well... the brakes aren't that good ( I slid a little ways) and impacted her SUV right dead center. the police got the whole thing written up and I Was surprisingly not very shook up about the whole thing. I'll DL the images of the damage and post a couple later.
